I wish Athearn would do a full run of Via Rail P42dc passenger units, the very short run for a Canadian hobby shop go for stupid amounts of money on ebay. Rapido is doing the passenger cars they most commonly pull. I personal hand laid out all the decals and assembled the decal kits before deliverying them to the General Electric plant in Erie, PA. I worked for the subcontractor that did all the decal production. I have almost a full kit of the nose Via Rail and most of the side Via emblems other than the striping that were seconds and not able to be used on the actual locomotives. I have had the Kato N scale version, but really want an HO one that doesnt cost $250-600, ie the short run Athearn or OMI brass. It really is a beautifull locomotive in person, and all the scotchlite striping really stand out at night. Cheers Mike
