HO InterMountain F7
Posted by pastime01 on Monday, October 26, 2009 3:23 PM

 Hello,

Can an HO InterMountain F7 DC engine run in synch at all speeds with an Atlas 4-axle HO engine?

I was asked this because a customer of ours is hesitant to buy the InterMountain engine

if it does not run in synch with other engine manufacturers. We are only taking about DC not DCC.

Thank you!

Vinny, only testing it will tell and the testing is best done with the throttle/powersupply that will be used.

Plus, not all Atlas locos necessarlily run the same speed. They could vary from model to model and production run to production run.

Lots of mixed brand MU running can be done in DC, but it is just found by experimentation.
