Maine Central's paint treatments closely matched B & M's paint scheme in same era that AntonioFP45 is referring to, since they had common ownership. B&o's paint scheme as used on their first gen diesels, esp. their E6s was one of the classiest paint jobs ever in railroading. Their solid royal blue later adopted looked cheap and was typical of railroadings' dark days. CSX is actually better but still kinda ugly. .
