<p> That's what I thought, Jordan. NS is wierd about the DC traction, high hoods, and 4000 HP...[:-^]</p><p>Sawyer, That's an interesting proposal to MU the GP9s to SD70ACe's. The only thing I would be worried about is that AC and DC locos don't work so well together, as they are very different traction methods and they come up to speed differently. I read about that in an article on the Yukon and White Pass, except they were reffering to the differance between a Bombodier DL 535 and an Alco RSD39/GE Class 90.</p><p>This might not make a difference with mainline locos though, as they're built to MU with each other and have matched speeds...<br></p><p>All this is the prototype though, the models will be fine...<br></p>
