Well first, thanks for the compliments. I used drywall mud to make the roads and painted them black. I haven't gotten to painting the lines yet. There are two crossings on my layout. On one I built the mud up layer by layer to the tops of the rails. That took forever. The second one I used roadbed to keep the road the same height as the the track roadbed then used some scrap styrene for the road and painted it black. I used hot glue to hold the styrene to the roadbed. I hope this makes sense and helps. Again thanks for the compliments. I've been rather disappointed with the way it's been going lately but only so much can be done in 8X9 feet of space. <br /> <br />Thanks, <br />Jeremy
