I just received my new sound-equipped BLI E7 this week and was running it on the layout for the first time the other day. After about a half-lap, the engine just stopped. It was on a straight-away, so no turnout was involved. The engine seemed very warm to the touch. I cut the power to the rails, shut everything down, then restarted everything back up. I couldn't get the engine to move. I removed the shell to let everything cool down and see it there was any damage, pinched wires, etc. I did not see any. I let everything sit for a day or so. I came back on Thursday and was able to get the engine running again (without the shell). The locomotive has now made a couple of trips around the layout, but the PC board is still very warm (almost hot) after very little running. Is this normal? After the break-in period, will it run cooler? Should I contact BLI? Any suggestions would be helpful. I do have an earlier PCM sound equipped E7 that hasn't had these issues. The new loco utilizes the Paragon 2 system.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Scott
