Hi,Last weekend was the annual Doubleheaders Layout Tour in the Kitchener area of Southern Ontario.Once again I participated by displaying my CNJ Bronx Terminal layout.Instead of the usual photos of the day, I shot some high def video of the process of transporting the layout and setting it up for the show. The day has been compressed into 4 videos, all hosted on my site at the link below.I would love to post them here, but alas, embedding video is not yet supported on this forum. (time for a forum upgrade MR...)http://www.bronx-terminal.com/?p=2944Tips for playing HD videos...If you have a slow connection, getting the videos to play smoothly takes a bit of coaxing. The best way to watch these is in HD. This can be done with any type of connection, but will take longer on a slower service. Start the video, then click on the “HD” button once it shows up. Then, pause the video and wait for it to steam in for a while. A pink progress line will show the progress, once it is about half way across the progress bar the video can be started again and should play smoothly to the end.On a page with multiple videos, such as this one, I like to start each one and pause it until all of them have loaded, then come back a few minutes later and watch them. Waiting for the larger HD versions is well worth it.
Very interesting videos of a very interesting layout. Thanks for posting.
Nice video's Tim. I live too far away to attend that tour. Anyway I also checked out Your Springfield Ma Photo's. That was an Awesome train show! best I ever went to. Have You been on the "Tour De Chooch" here in New Hampshire and Mass? Thats a great tour also.
