I am trying to find out who manufactures the light green sheets of window glazing like you see in the dome cars of the California Zephyr. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I was running through the Plastruct cataloque and came with this. It may help. Rix Products and Plastruct are owned by the same people. Go to the Plastruct section and their "Complete Product Listing" to see the complete line. The number is below.

If that stuff from Plastructs is what I'm thinking of, its very thick material. Railway Classics has what they call Proto Correct glass. If you've ever worked with Evergreen's clear sheets it the same stuff only tinted. It's kinda pricey at 15.00 a sheet, but if your carfull you can do a lot of cars with one sheet.

This is an example of a Rivarossi car with Railway Calssics Proto Glass installed. Proto Correct Glass is a flat sheet, but you will need to curve the pieces for the dome. This can be done by inserting a long cut piece into a plastic 1/2 PVC water pipe and using a blow dryer for about two or three seconds. The glass will take on the shape of the curve.
