I went to the annual train show in Clark, NJ yesterday. And I gotta tell ya, despite all the talk about the decline of our hobby, it was one of the busiest I've ever seen it. From the moment I noticed the crowded parking lot to the overcrowded aisles. Don't get me wrong, this show always attracts a sizable crowd. But it seemed to me to be extra busy, economy and all. Maybe people were going early due to the impending storm we are having, but it was good to see things alive and well. Just thought I would mention this since occasionally things seem to look grim, but it was good to be there and among other train fanatics. One thing I did notice that has been mentioned...some of the vendors weren't so fast with the bargains, but I got a few good deals nonetheless. Here's to next year....
