BranchLine Laser N Kits?
Posted by Cannoli on Monday, February 2, 2009 12:12 PM

Hi Everyone, I'm curious to know how difficult the BranchLine N scale laser kits are to assemble. I have my eye on the Creamery and Ice House kits in particular. I've never assembled a laser cut kit before but really love the way these look and would fit my needs perfectly.

 Thanks,

Jason

I'm in HO, so there's a question of scale, but I really enjoyed putting together this Branchline kit, Weimer's Mill:

I took my time doing this, and spent most of my train time for a month on it.  I added an interior, which wasn't part of the design.  Since this was my first "craftsman" kit, I was initially a bit intimidated, but soon learned that there's nothing particularly difficult about the assembly.

My biggest regret about this kit is that I had it in my workroom for almost 2 years before I built it.  The results of these kits are so nice that you will want to build more.  I waited so long that I have very little space left on my layout for more structures.

It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.
