I had an issue similar to what is being described with one of my engines. I was able to conclude that the wheels were too close. So I reset the spacing using NMRA standards and it now runs smooth. Thanks to this forum I was able to acquire the link that gave me the correct spacing. Below is the link. <br /> <br />http://www.nmra.org/standards/s-4.html <br />
