Hobby Shop (Model Railroad) Advice Wanted
Posted by tpd0418 on Sunday, December 28, 2008 7:31 PM

Hi,

I will be visiting western Massachusetts in a few months and would like to visit some model railroad shops while I'm there. I would appreciate advice from others who live in the area or who have visited shops there. I model in HO, so shops that specialize in that gauge would be my preference. I'll be in Hancock in the extreme western part of the state and won't mind driving a couple of hours in any direction.

Advice about other railfan activities is also welcome.

Thanks!

PD

Used to be a good one in North Hampton, not sure if it is still there or  not.  Been a long time since I was in the area.  Check the phone book when you get in the area.  Some listed in MR, RMC and MRN, check the CT listings too, may not be too far from your travels.  Sorry I can't be of more help.

Good luck,
