I,m still looking for a G.E. 44 tonner, in NKP.  Anyone know of one sitting in a LHS, or one for sale anywhere in ho scale?    R. Staller

Hi!

I believe Bachmann Spectrum is the only maker of the 44 ton loco.  I don't know if they make them in NKP livery, but they do make them in "undecorated" and you could decal / paint yourself.  In any case, try Ebay, and note that Bachmann is sometimes spelled Bachman when you do your search.

I've had both the early version (2 motor) and the newer version (1 motor) and they both were neat little switch engines that could pull 4 or 5 cars and get into any track situation you have.

Keystone has made a 44-ton. I don't know if the kit is still available.

You might try the NKP group on Yahoo.  I don't know that I've ever heard of a commercial version of NKP 90 "Mighty Ninety" but I'm sure that some guys there could point you in the right direction for decals, colors, etc.  Tell them "The Guv" sent you!
