This whole issue would have just been avoided if people kept off topic posts for forums that allow them. OR Perhaps the solution is an off-topic forum just so as model railroaders can share their ideas, similar interests, and other hobbies they enjoy. I can understand why people don't like off-topic posts when you have a seriouse question and it gets bumped down just because you silly people want to see who can post more. As for you people knocking dougal because of his age, I think its unfair to generalize that all teens or kids as you phrased it have no respect and such. Besides respect IS earned not given to you because of your age.
