I like to eventually weather most of my stuff, but once in a while I'll get something so nice (e.g., my Genesis F7 A/B warbonnets) that I just like to leave them shiny and bright for awhile. I have also had interesting reactions to my weathered equipment. from non-model railroaders They think I'm nuts for making something new and shiny look old and beat up. Oh, well.
