Hi, Everyone! I have been a die-hard BN fan since I got into model railroading in 1975. I miss the BN more than I can say! Today's railroading is of no interest to me. I found this page today because I'm tired of the BNSF, and I don't feel it was a merger. There seems tobe no sign of the BN, but the SF is evident! I don't dislike the Santa Fe, but I'm sick of it! I no longer have a VHS and I can't seem to find any BN DVD's without the SF in them! Even Mcmillan makes SF calanders still, but not BN! I was feeling like the great BN was being forgotten, so I went in search of others who love and miss the BN like I do, and I found this page! Thank God!

I still model BN from 1970 to 1995 in HO--I'm up to 53 locos (SW1's to SD70MAC's) and 8 Chicago area locos (EJ&E, IHB, BRofC) I do not belong to a club, as I live and grew up in Mass,. and western RR's are not welcome, plus I don't need the crap. I HAD a 12x35 layout before I got divorced. All my stuff is now at my friends house, who is a die-hard Conrail modeler (hence the transfer locos) and some Friday nights we get more grid-locked than UP did in Texas after the SP take-over! (another shame)

I just want to talk with other BN fans--I knew there had to be some out there! If anyone would ever like to talk more in-depth about BN or model railroading, my email is richsd40@aol.com Thanks so much foir letting me spout-off and in my model railroad, the BN will NEVER die!

Richard
