How big is your layout?

Mine isn't under construction yet, but as of the current plan it is to be 186 square feet. Just curious what sizes we have represented on this board

I have said this a few times in different places in the forum before, but I don't mind saying it again. 38' x 46' is the floor space, but I've never stopped to figure what the actual railroad space is. Subtracting aisles, and adding the second deck, may average back out to the floor space.[:D]

38 x 46? Is it anywhere near complete? I'd love to see some pictures if you have them.

I estimate 150 or so square feet, its 8' x 20' with access aisles and cutouts so that cuts it down a little.

   Have fun with your trains

Not counting the aisles I'm at about 150 sq ft in an 11'3" x 18'8" room.
Enjoy

Mainline is 600' long, averages about 2' wide.
Yards at either end 25' long, 2' wide.
Branches 130' long 2' wide
Short line 45' long 2' wide

The widths are averages. Some go as wide as 30", some drop to 18".

4' 6" deep, 10' long. I wish I was able to utilize more space.

I have a 4' x 8' logging line. I plan to expand after I have learned all the skills required. I figure I'll make all my mistakes on a small layout instead of a big layout.

I have two tables bolted together, one is 4' X 6' and the other is 4' X 7'. It is essentially Atlas's HO-12 layout, but I made some modifications and used flex track. It is 52 square feet and will not get any bigger for the next six or seven years while I am at college.

Currently seven square feet--the total constructed size with all modules will fill about 28-30 square feet of a 6x8 foot area.

I've never bothered to figure out the square footage before, but a rough estimate is 327 square feet, give or take a few. Not bad considering my layout is in an odd shaped room that's only 206 square feet large! I do love multideck layouts!
