I've been scratch building and kitbashing for years. I started out with cardboard structures and moved on from there to locomotives and rollingstock. Here's a link to some of my locomotives , some of you may have allready seen them. http://www.the-gauge.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6376 If you are interested in scratchbuilding, start with a simple project and work your way up. I've seen a lot of people get discouraged because they try to tackle a major scratchbuilding project as their first attempt. Practice your skills and do your research. Happy modeling.
