Yes I do work too!

I know I know, I am not supposed to be here but since I am here I will join in for the next day or so. Anyway earlier tonight I renumbered a set of three SP units to the UP numbers and it was fun. I ordered Microscales renumbering kits to do it. I had to do three units

1. Athearn SP AC4400 #146 to UP #6154

2. Overland SD70M #9824 to UP#3999

3. Athearn Genesis SD70M #9803 to UP #3977

I actually have not finished them completely. The Geneis SD70M I have just done one side with the numbers. And the other two need the number boards done above the cab. I did the Athearn AC4400 unit first to make sure it would come out nice before I jumped onto the Overland one ya know. I numbered each unit to the correct number as well. Last time I checked SP #3999 is still looking renumbered and not repainted yet. I do not know about the other two. Well here are the pictures of them.

Two SP AC4400 pictures

Before and after Overland SD70M pictures

The AC4400 in the backround (before)

After

The Athearn Genesis SD70M with patch and numbers only so far

I forgot to mention

I did not want to use anything on the oveland to remove the previous numbers so I decided not to remove any of the numbers on the other engines too. I put the patch right over the exsisting numbers and it came out perfectly. There was no need to remove them. Now IF I decide to sell them to anyone else and they want to go back to the Sp numbers it will not be hard at all. Well thats it I am ready to do someone elses for them for free too. No I am not a thief either
