I don't model it, but I did pick up a TexMex-painted boxcar at the train show last weekend, sort of as a souvenir of my recent trip down to Cancun. It'll be a long way from home while its traversing my West Virginia layout. I know nothing about the railroad, though, sorry. I would like to watch this thread, and find out some more about it, especially what years it was in operation and which industries it served, to see if maybe there is a justification for my interchange service...

Captain Carrales,
If you go to the "fallen flags" Web site and scroll down to Texas Mexican, you'll find a bunch of equipment shots, including two of an N scale diesel in TM livery.
The URL is:

Went to the Index of Magazines at this site and used "TM" as the search term for a keyword search. It turned up three articles that may be of interest to you. Hope this helps.
Avondaleguy,
At least one of those cars made it as far north as Elmira, NY, so it wouldn't be wrong to run it on your road.
