Who is using or has tried Rail-ops besides me?

I am still working on figuring out the program. The club is split 50/50 on it but at this stage hard cards will be VERY hard to do. 175 cars and 48 loco's on the layout, that is a bunch of writing!!

Anyway if you have used it how the heck do you get it to STOP mixing passenegr trains? I have LV, CNJ and lackawanna and it keeps mixing then. ALSO in 7 months of operation it has NEVER used 4 of the sidings on the railroad.

Modified is ready so it is TRAIN TIME!!!!

I have used RailOp for a couple of years now.

I don`t operate passenger equipment so can`t help you there.as to your sidings not being used some reasons could be

not enough room

wrong car types

is a train scheduled to run and pick up ?

I would advise visiting the RailOp yahoo group where all you questions will be answered.

RailOp will do almost anything you want but it all depends how you set it up.

I think it is a terrific program

Thanks Trevor, it appears that to run a passenger train you must TRICK Rail-ops into NOT switching the cars. We had a good session last night. I reloaded the program and it looks like it is better for some reason.

I like it also but I like 3rd planet!!
