I have HO passenger sets
Athearn, Bachmann Spectrum, Walther Budd and Rivarossi.
The Athearn although not protopytical will easily
run on 18" radius and can be converted to Kadee # 5 with a drill & tap set.
To my knowledge there's no interior available but light kits are are available and I have installed in my 12 cars.
These cars comes with weights with a center hole for the bulb.
Both weights are screwed to the truck floor.
Then, you run a jumper wire/metal strap from each end of the weight to the screw holding the truck in place inside the coach.
On the outside under the coach attached to the metal truck screw would be a metal wiper or you can run a wire from the screw truck tto wrap it around the metal axle but without inpeding its free rolling ability.
It's almost impossible to avoid light flickering.
So all you realy need is the bulb and wire or the wipers that you should be able to get from Athearn
or your hobby shop.

The Bachmann Spectrum is a tough nut so I will pass on that.

Most of the Rivs I have bot in the last year already come with interiors but I have no lights
although I have seen ads for light kits in MR.
These longer cars can run on 18" radius but the recommendation is that they look better on 22"

The Walthers Budd Cars @$24.00 discounted come with interiors and a optional light kit is available @ a discounted price of $8.00. These cars require 24" radius.

Depending upon the # of cars you run, will draw power from your track and you could see a difference in engine speed.
Chuck-Grand Rapids
locomotive3@prodigy.net
