My parents habitually renew my MR subscription as a Christmas gift each year, a practice which dates back to my poor high school student days, and due to their failure to deal with the issue, the magazines still get delivered to their address, not mine. That means it can take quite some time for me to get my new issue(s); in fact, I just received the November 2002 issue about a month ago, as it was lost in transit when it was given to my sister when she visited! It is a terribly inefficient method of getting my railroad "fix", but I think my parents like it because it keeps me coming back to visit!
