Removing Hobby Tac?

  I have a few flat cars that I have used Hobby Tac in the past to hold down a load and now I need to remove the Hobby Tac so  I can weather the cars. Any suggestions on how to do this? I have tried soap & water and alchol and nothing seems to work.     Thans,            Mike
