I was looking at Caboose hobbies extensive list of brass yesterday and I am confused about the abbreviated descriptions given. I know "tarn" must indicate some level of tarnish but the rest fool me. I couldn't find a list on their website so where an I go to find out?

On the web site look under the heading BRASS. Select ABBREVIATIONS on the drop down menu.
