Brett, Well, after some broad hints, and then direct suggestions regarding Atlas Auto Racks, IM Tunnel Motors, or even a gift certificate to Discount Model Trains so I could pick my own stuff out, no one in my family got me anything train related. In fact, I got a big bag o' nothing for Xmas - a shared fondue pot with the wife from the kids, and a pair of gym shorts. Not like what I like isn't well known, but no one wants to go to the trouble to buy something so specialized for the trains. In their defense, it is hard to do. Hope you guys all have more understanding families regarding trains. The good news is, I spent part of today doing a first switching run on my new branch line, and it was a blast, so it was kind of a gift to myself! There are a few bugs to work out, but the switchting scheme came out about right - not to intracite, but not dull, either. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
