Every outdoor layout I've ever seen that isn't in a garden in somebody's back yard is in a forest of tall, straight trees.

Is that a G scale rule? Big Smile [:D]

Many years ago I've put a video camera onto a LGB flat car and pushed this around in the garden. Much fun.

Now I've placed my Canon PowerShot at a H0 flat car. Smile [:)]

And I run into clearance problems, you can see it at my video.

That clip has sound, it may be turned down on Youtube's end. I'm listening to it.

Very interesting view. I have always wondered what it would look like to have a cabride video of my layout.

I've got that onboard camera from Micro-Mark, and I love watching it.  Does anybody know of how I can get the image from the camera onto my laptop or PC?  I currently having the receiver going into my VCR to get to my TV.

Wolfgang- can that 44 tonner even push it?Big Smile [:D]

I tried that, but it hit everything,  I might try again if  Ican find a camera small enough to fit on a flatcar without overhanging.

Yes, clearance is the problem with this method. Especially when street running. You see the "hits" in the video.

Wow a fan club Blush [:I]

There should be sound on that clip.

I'm currently trying to get a higher resolution clip of this video online.  YouTube is nice but it really compresses files a lot, especially longer files.  The original video of this is so much better then the YouTube version.  You can see a lot more details.

There's other videos (non cab view) we've shot of the layout and I'm working to get these online as well.

Be sure to visit our website for photos and such for the layout (link in my signature).

UPDATE

I put the larger file on YouSendIt.  It will be up for 7 days or 100 downloads (whichever comes first).  So if you do go to download it, please only do this once so others can get it too.  Here's the link:
