I'm the kind of guy who does read the manual, and refers to it later on.  I start with the basics to get started, but will then go back to it.  I want to know, eventually, all the features.  I may not use some of them, but I want to know what's there.I've also done some tech writing, so I have an idea how difficult it is.I've never seen any Digitrax manuals, or the ProCab manual, but I'm very impressed with the PH Pro manual.  I find it very clear, accurate, and complete. As with all the other features, that may or may not be important to you, but if it is, you won't go wrong with NCE.
