This could be caused by many things. The first one I can think of is possible bodyshell resonating - the bodyshell is vibrating causing the buzzing noise. Try removing the shell, then run the loco to see if the noise is still present. Failing that, check that there is nothing rubbing against rotating parts in the mechanism. You might also want to try putting a little oil on the motor bearings and putting a little plastic-safe grease in the trucks.
