Model railroading paid of in the real world. My Mother-in-Law's TV broke and I could not find another to fit without going to a really small TV. I guess TV's have changed in shape.

So I cut out the center divider of my entertainment center, built a new shelf that spanned the two sections. ON the left used to be a stack of components, which has now moved underneath in the cabinets.

I don't think I would have even thought of kitbashing it were it not for my experiences in model railroading.

Chip,

Will your mother-in-law now have to go down to the basement and watch TV next to the furnace?  At least she won't complain it's too cold in the room...Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

Actually, she took my Sony and put it in her black shiny entertainment center upstairs. I got the new one in the basement. Everyone is happy.
