BlueLine AC6000 ditchs lights
Posted by Harley-Davidson on Tuesday, September 18, 2007 12:21 PM
I really like the BLI AC6000 BlueLine, the sound -very deep- is in the best quality range, and the loco running is very smooth. The only point I can´t fix is the ditchs lights. They only are on when the horn is turned on. I need to know if somebody can get, beside that I mentioned, to have they -too- on/off with F7, that is always flashing on, or when off with F/, that they be on together with the horn. The model has a good NCE N14IP decoder. Thanks.

Q: Are the ditch lights adjustable on my BlueLine AC6000?A: The ditch lights are very adjustable. The default is to come on when the horn blows.

Some DC options:
-Aux button on DC Master controls ditch lights if CV220 and CV222 are set to 3.
-If CV221 is set to 1, the ditch light come on with the bell.

Some DCC options:
-Set CV226 to 1 to make the ditch lights come on with the bell. Set to 0 to return to default.
-If CV225 is set to 3, F7 controls ditch lights.

To Make the lights on solid all the time set: CV225-3, CV160-3, CV161=50, CV162=2, CV163=3 and CV164 is 10. F7 turns them on and off.

This worked for me.  The detailed manual is at:

Thanks you, but that don´t answer my question. You see that in that way, (ditchs always on or off) don´t make it "on" togheter with the horn. I´m affraid that both devices, at once, are impossible.

Maybe I am not following you.  I have mine always on and blinking, whether the horn is on or off.  Is that waht you want ?  The default is for them to come on with the horn.

jbinkley60: you may choice: ditchs on with the horn, OR ditchs on blinking continuosly, as you have: but no both way at once. I want: ditchs on (MORE time will be ideal) with the horn, OR ditchs continuosly blinking, and, when with F7 off, they on with the horn.

Ok, so on solid when you press F7 and blinking otherwise, correct ?  If so, you are correct.  I am not aware that you can do both right now.
