What have I been doing____????

I have backed off doing scenery, it was getting to boring. I have almost completed a total re-wire of my layout. When I first put the layout together, it was get the track down and get things running. If you looked under my table you couldn't tell what was wire and what was spider webs. Now all the wires are neatlly bundeled and on numbered terminal blocks. So far I have installed about 50 terminal blocks, thats an assortment of 2, 3, and 6 lug terminal blocks. I found a low cost source for the blocks ( http://www.alliedelec.com/ ). It's cheaper that what I have found on eBay. Some of you may say "oh wow it's no big deal to re-wire a layout." When you have 20 power blocks and 20 switch machines I think it's no small job.

While I have been waiting for more terminal blocks to come in the mail I have completed a drawing for my control panel. I realized I can wire two or more switch machines to one electrical switch as these switch machine work in tandem with each other. So I have cut my number of electrical switches for switch machines from 20 to 13.

When I complete the track wireing it's back to the scenery. Then it's back to wireing up the lighting ( damn more terminal blocks.)

That's all I've been doing.

Dewayne
