An Awsome Holiday Gift: Battery Daddy
Posted by kasskaboose on Friday, December 15, 2023 7:50 PM

Anyone own one?  My better 3/4th got it for me for Hanukkah.  It's a fantastic way to organize your batteries.  Batteries and model trains?  Of course!  Have a mult-meter?  Battery-operated.  What else?

This thing not only stores the batteries, but comes with a tester.  No more scrambling for them in the utility drawer(s) or on shelf garages.  Get it and you'll never regret it!

Happy Holidays.

Yes, I was gifted one. It does keep your batteries organized. I already had the battery tester but I could never find it when I needed it so having one in place is nice. What I find though is I rarely need anything but AA and AAA. The Cs and Ds pretty much go unused. I do have one old flashlight that takes the Ds but I rarely use that one because I have a rechargeable that is much brighter and has multiple functions. I can't remember the last time I saw something that took a C. It's been decades. While we're on the subject, were there ever A or B batteries?

Never liked the design. I got 4 battery containers that ever ready put out years ago, much better laid out and you can stack them. Use C batteries for some outdoor candle type lights, used to use them for flashlights as were D used, don't know anything that uses D anymore, feel C will disapear also. And to answer a question, both A and B batteries still exist, though A may be done now and B rairly used, there are other weird sizes too.
