Walthers switch machine installation

Walthers switch machine installation

Ready to lay track and switches and was hoping Walthers would have machines available, but since they currently do not, I need info regarding placement of the switch machines when become available. I want to avoid any under table framing interferring with the switch machine.

Does the actuator wire move side to side or front to back of switch machine?  Knowing that the cables connect to sides of the machine, I want to have ample room to connect cables without framing interference.

 Larry Pucket the DCC guy did some videos on YouTube about the machines. Just googled the DCC guy and check him out. The wire does move side to side to actuate the points.
