keep getting an INF error-no digital signature. downloaded the pr3 drivers and followed the instructions to the tee, but can;t get beyond that digital signature thing. did the steps for windows 8 not todo the driver installation, but no help. Any suggestions? after telling digitrax support i was running windows 8, never heard from them again.

thanks Randy. I went back thru the driver download/installation for the umpteenth time and it apears to be working. Next up is trying to speed match some engines.

If you ever go to WIN 10, just plug the PR3 or DCS240 into a USB port - Microsoft will load a driver that works just fine.  I just did this with a new laptop and a DCS240 - Picked up the imbedded PR3 Xtra and loaded a Microsoft driver - I set the com port in JMRI and it worked!  To test this I took and older laptop(with WIN 10) on it and deleted the Digitrax PR3 driver.  I then tested with no driver to make sure I could not contack the PR3, and them re-booted the laptop and plugged the USB cable in to a port - 'Ding', it was found and  it loaded the Microsoft driver(verified with Device Manager).  I set the com port in JMRI and was up and running.  Much easier that the 'old' days of force feeding the Digitrax driver from that mini-CD...
