Track Feeders
Posted by Smokey D on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 4:23 AM

I was just browsing through some videos and I came across one from Andy ,and he was explaining how he installs his drop wires to his buzz wire and that he makes his own small copper drop wires and solders them to his tracks.

After watching 3 times just to make sure it was that simple compared to what I was doing .And now I know why he was called the NUMBER 1 GURU of model railroads.

Soldering Rule 1) LOOK at the soldering irn BEFORE picking it up.

Soldering Rule 2) ADJUST your glases BEFORE picking up the soldering iron.

All other rules are fungible.

Tin both the rail and the wire before making the connection.

LION installed a small yard on one section of his layout. He brought all of the rails and Tortoise terminals out to a terminal board, and then make your connections there.
