Sound Decoders for O scale
Posted by passenger1955 on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 12:03 PM

Can someone please recommend good quality sound decoders for O scale? I am a fan of SoundTraxx, but the Tsunami only goes up to 2 amp. Phoenix seems like a huge leap in circuit board size (more suitable for large scale).

Try the Econami 400. That decoder is good for 4 amps.

Loksound L 4.0 or L Select are 3 amp decoders made for O scale.

Loksound XL aren't all that big, 1.57" x 2", and do 4 amps.
