decoder question
Posted by the old train man on Thursday, September 3, 2015 10:55 PM

Does anybody know if you can take the decoder out of a broadway limited 4-6-2 and put it in an older broadway with the original paragon decoder such as the older mikado?

Don't see why not - just note which wires go where on both decoders before removing anything - track pickups, motor wires, speaker, lights, etc. The connections may not be in the exact same place on both decoders.
