MTH Trains Locos with automatic couplers

I am going to use MRC's Advanced Squared DCC system. any advice on how to set up which function button to activate MTH trains auto couplers. Thank you.

 I believe they default to F3 for the front and F4 for the rear, it's in the booklet that comes with the locos. Nothing to set up and no real need to change them.

 I submit you will be disappointed after a while. They uncouple just fine, but to get them to couple again, you have to slam into the parked car to get the knuckle to close, far too hard for proper care of your rolling stock, let alone being prototypical.

Thank you Randy. I appreciate the input. If that's the case with the Knuckles, I might be better off without it . No sense in ruining the rolling stock trying to force the knuckle to close.
