Tsunami programming
Posted by Blind Bruce on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 9:21 AM

I received a PDF file titled "OEM" for my Bachmann 2-6-0 for which I am grateful. I then found a CD that said basically the same thing that I got from Litchfield station I believe. My CD doesn't say "OEM" however. Since OEM stands for original equipment manufacturer, could some data be different? I hesitate to print out all 63 pages of the OEM pdf if it is the same as my CD.

Bruce,

The OEM Tsunami decoder that is installed in Bachmann locomotives is not a full-function Tsunami that you add after the fact, so some of the CVs mentioned on the CD are probably not supported by the OEM decoder.

You can do a selective priintout with Adobe Acrobat Reader instead of having to print the entire document.  Find the page you need to print and then press CTRL-P to print only that page.

When I do that with my Adobe Acrobat Reader, it prints the entire document.  To get just one page I have to bring up a printing menu which gives me the choice of what pages to print and other things.  Maybe that's just a quirk of the Mac version of Reader, I don't know.

Here's the 2 documents from the Soundtraxx site.  They have more info than the Bachman CD
