What was the actual diameter of the headlight units on the B & O prototypes? Did they use Pyle-type dual beams behind a single lens for each fixture or was it a single sealed beam in each fixture? What type of radio antennas were used, firecracker, stub, wire? What type of air horns were used and if multiple air horns, which horn faced forward ? I'm attempting to bring my Athearn (don't laugh [8)] ) F7's up to somewhat prototypical appearances, taking some of Jim Six's approaches outlined in the December 2002 issue of MR. I realize that Jim used an Intermountain F7A, but I've had these old Athearns since 1988 and would like to update them to reflect the 1940's and 1950's of the B & O. Thanks!
