I think graffiti on a rail car is as real as the sky being blue during a nice day. No it wasnt present or noticable before the 80's, but its here now. I think most of the negative remarks are coming from those who model before that time. Everywhere you go now a days you see graffiti on everything which is unfortunate, but its real. So therefor, if your gonna make things look realistic, then just go ahead about your way, whether you like it of not. If you go onto ebay, the value shows, people spend big money for rolling stock with graffiti on it.
