Cuddy, <br />Here is a good link on the BNSF in San Diego: <br />[url]http://www.trains.com/community/forum/topic.asp?page=-1&TOPIC_ID=44326&REPLY_ID=472424#472424[/url] <br /> <br />As I work next to the downtown SD station I would say that the daily freight is about 1/3 tank cars 1/3 cov. hoppers and 1/3 other. The daily freight usually has 5-6+ six axle engines on it and around 80-100 cars. The SD70MAC's might have also been used on the grain train (all cov. hoppers) or the autorack train (often 20-30 or so) (last year I used to see autoracks on the back end of the daily freight but haven’t this year. (There are no coal, intermodel trains down here.)
