This tool car was converted from a series 9300-9399 postal storage car. These cars were built by St. Louis Car Co. in 1964, were withdrawn from mail service in 1967, and were classified by the UP as BE-70-1. The interior length is 60'. <br /> <br />IIRC, Quality Craft produced an HO scale craftsman-type kit of these cars in the late 1960s. You might be able to find one on eBay.
