Google will answer your question in about 10 seconds (depending on how fast your type).

I got stopped at a crossing by an NYS&W train last night, so yeah, they're still around.

They're still around, although at this point they only run two freights a day, SU-99 and SU-100, one west and one east, I forget which is which.

CSX has also detoured their freights over the Susquehanna for various reasons from time to time.

There has been talk for the past several years of re-establishing commuter service on the Susie-Q but nothing's ever come of it, just talk, talk, and more talk.

There's some interesting videos on You Tube of Susquehanna operations,  just search "you tube susquehanna railroad" and you'l find them easily.

How'd you like a head-end ride on the Suzie-Q?  Check this out...

Hmm, won't light up.  I anyone can make it so I'd appreciate it.

Youtube didn't like something about your link, Firelock. This one is the closest I could find. Is it the one?

That's the one, bro!  Hope everyone enjoys it!

Can't imagine why the link didn't light up for me, I have no trouble on the "Trains,"  "Classic Trains," or "Classic Toy Trains" Forums with that.

ahh, but this is the Model Railroader forum where things never quite work as well when it comes to software. Laugh

By the way, Suzy Q, a Dale Hawkins classic, was released in 1958.

............oh, wait, you mean the railroad !

Hey, at least you still have the "Who's Online" feature, it's not on the other Forum's anymore.  Not that it's a really big deal, but it definately fits into the "nice-to-know" category.

Holy smoke, I haven't thought about the Dale Hawkins song in years!

Found another Susie-Q video, this one will take you waaaaaay back...
