trucks for daylight cars
Posted by Sierra Man on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 10:44 AM

Hi all,

I have a Daylight passenger train I put together with Con-cor cars. I changed the couplers to body mount K-dees and now I want to install better trucks. I have been looking and searching but can't figure out what I need. Can anyone help me with the type of trucks I need and who may offer them?

Thanks for any help

Hi Phil,

If you're looking for HO scale models of the 43-R triple-bolster trucks used on many pre-war Daylight cars, try D&G Models, dandgmodels.com. I have several pair of these myself, as they were also used on pre-war Pullman and Union Pacific lightweights, and I recommend them highly.

So long,

Andy
