UP Excursion Train?

The 6936 and train came into Mojave on the 31st and turned on the Y for the return to Bakersifield. They made many stops over the hill and even on the Loop for inspection type walkarounds. Much speculation was made by all those watching the train, but we really do not know the reason. They were all engineer types with safety vests and seemed to inspect or look at much of the track and hill in general. <br /> <br />The 6936 hit close to 80 miles per hour near Monolith with the 16 car train on its way back west. It was a great sight to see. If I knew how to post pictures on this site, I would post a few. <br />Larry <br /> <br />
