Sometimes you have special signs at the point where the two tracks come together (at the turnouts), where clearance ends.

Wolfgang, the more common term is "fouling point". It has been discussed in this forum. Place a search for "fouling AND point".
In general the fouling point sign (German term Grenzzeichen) depends on the railroad.
