First, I hate to tell you this, but I could not find any photos of the engine, except one from 1979. Second, even worse, You will have to renumber the engine. The engine was built as 1223. In the very early 1970s, ATSF renumbered the fleet to the 3200 series(your's was, of course, renumbered 3223). Your engine was wrecked and repaired in 1980, and renumbered 2723. The BNSF merger renumbered the engine 2423. During the wreck rebuilding process, the engine probably was modified in some way. Sorry about that. One time, I bought a Norfolk Southern SD40-2. And I found out the unit was on NS for a month, then sold to CSX. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
