I purchased a Scenic Ridge Layout made by Woodland Scenics and none of my Locos can haul more than 5-6 cars going up the inclide. [V] I followed the instructions to the "T" and yet now I am somewhat disappointed that I can not have long runs on the area where the incline is. I guess I should have treid to run 10-12 cars before I finished this area of the layout. My engines are: Kato P42 X 2 and four passenger cars, Bachman Spectrum series 2-6-2 with tender, Atlas Conrail, Atlas B&O, Atlas Hershey loco, Atlas Burlington Northern (The largest of them all). All except the Katos' are DCC, which is the best thing siince wheels.[:D] The Katos do not count since there is one engine in the front and another in the rear. Any sugestions on how to correct this? Other than tearing it up of course! [:(] I have modified the rest of the layout so that I could begin to add a yard, a commuter line and maybe an additional urban scene. Pictures to follow......
